10 Star Wars Mistakes You Can’t Unsee
7. An Ever-Changing Snack - The Force Awakens
Back to Star Wars' habit of not quite knowing what prop to land on for a scene, and the Sequel Trilogy makes its first appearance on this collection of the galaxy's finest c*ck-ups.
The 2015 return to the galaxy far, far away that was Force Awakens also just so happened to introduce us to one of the oldest beings in the universe, Maz Kanata, and said alien's castle. This impressive piece of architecture houses the sort of cantina that feels like home for many a Star Wars devotee, but it also played host to a piece of shoddy continuity as Rey, Finn, Chewie, and Han Solo conversed with the wise old alien.
Flipping between wide and close-up shots, its evident that Rey's meal of choice wasn't set in stone by any means. Wide shots show the future-Jedi eating what seems to be piece of bread with a simple topping, while close-ups have her munching on what looks like an overflowing-delicacy of sorts.
It's an easily missed quick cut, but it definitely gives off the impression that Rey either has the fastest snack-shifting hands in the galaxy or nobody thought to keep the food involved consistent throughout.
