One of the most intriguing mysteries in the Star Wars Saga is that of Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas. Dyas is mentioned by name in Attack of the Clones and he is personally responsible for the creation of the clone army. This loose thread sticks out like a sore thumb if you are simply watching the nine films in the saga, and a film exploring the creation of the clones would be riveting.

There is a lot of material about Sido-Dyas that was removed from canon in 2015. So, delving back into that era would be great for an exploration of the Jedi. The small pieces of lore that surround this character are quite fascinating. He had visions of the galactic war, he was kicked off the Council and went behind their back to create the army for The Republic.

Exploring the earlier days of Sifo-Dyas and the Jedi Council as a whole would allow for a deeper exploration of the Force, specifically the abilities granted by it. The gift of precognition could weigh heavily on a frail mind and could easily be what drives the story. Dyas could potentially fall into darkness due to these gifts, which would later be explored in Revenge of the Sith.

Dyas is a character worth revisiting in the new canon and would make for a deep, philosophical Jedi tale.
