10 Star Wars Universe Characters Who Deserve Their Own Movie

The Han Solo film gets a lot of hate and honestly...it's not that bad. Alden Ehrenreich was good as Han, given he had impossible shoes to fill, but the real standout here was Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian.

Glover managed to encapsulate everything that Billy Dee Williams brought to the role back in 1980 and it was just magic. His chemistry with Han was terrific and his story arc with L3-37 was actually incredibly heartfelt. The character is easily strong enough to carry a spinoff adventure.

There are a lot of adventures in Star Wars lore that feature Lando, for example the novel Last Shot by Daniel José Older - but there is still a lot to explore in terms of his character. His arrival on Bespin and his dealings with The Empire could easily bring more layers to the famous smuggler.

They could maybe even go full MCU and have a dual adventure between Han and Lando. It could just be a simple spinoff adventure, but it would be a really fun ride!
