Last Entry: Ash vs Evil Dead - Season 2 (2016)

Since the third film in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy, Army of Darkness, released in 1992, fans of the franchise spent over two decades waiting for more, and though 2013's Evil Dead shot a bit of life into the series' arm, it wasn't until 2015 that the franchise returned to what it did best: Letting Bruce Campbell's Ash do his thing, getting weird with the genre, and having a whole lot of fun along the way.

The first two seasons of Ash vs Evil Dead proved to be both a critical hit and a success in the eyes of many fans, who have enjoyed spending more time with Ash - along with his friends Pablo and Kelly - as he's gone toe to toe with Deadites, demons, and even a malicious puppet. It's been a goofy, gory, enjoyable ride, and fortunately it's not over yet.

While the first two seasons released in October of 2015 and 2016, no premiere date has been set yet for season three, with Campbell himself suggesting the season may not arrive until 2018. And while a trailer hasn't even dropped either, fans can take comfort in the fact the wait will definitely be worth it, as Campbell and everyone involved have made their ongoing enthusiasm about playing in the Evil Dead world more than clear.
