10 Stinking 2016 Movies That Scored 0% On Rotten Tomatoes
2. Precious Cargo
A Bruce Willis fronted action flick? Could this possibly be a return to the brilliance of the better Die Hard movies? Well, no quite frankly.
In Precious Cargo, Willis swaps his hard-edged good guy shtick for the villainous role of crime boss who vows to kill Claire Forlani’s seductive thief lest she make right on botched heist that left him out of pocket. So she recruits her ex-boyfriend, played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar whose last acting job of note was as Zach in Saved by the Bell, to pull off an armoured truck robbery to get her mitts on a tasty $30 million worth of diamonds.
There’s more, if only slightly, to its plot but really the film is just one nonsensical mishmash of crappy action film tropes. People get shot, things explode and people drive cars, speedboats and jet skis really fast.
Luckily for Willis, he isn’t actually in the movie all that much and it’ll most likely disappear into DVD bargain bin obscurity soon enough. But unluckily for him, it’s still a black mark on his résumé.
