5. Jabba's Bounty: The Capture Of Captain Solo
We know that Empire Strikes Back ends on a bit of a downer as the cast of heroes is unable to save Han Solo from the bounty hunter as he is taken away to Jabba's Palace frozen in carbonite. Boba Fett won. But as fans, wouldn't it be exciting to see Boba Fett's journey from Cloud City to Jabba's Palace to deliver his bounty? Picture this: We get a Boba Fett film that starts with the very last scene of Empire Strikes Back. We have Luke getting his new artificial hand, talking to Lando and Chewie aboard the Millennium Falcon (where Lando is creepily wearing some of Han's clothing) and then we see the cast standing at the window of the medical ship. We see the Millennium Falcon shoot off back towards the galaxy but instead of getting the John Williams score we then cut away to Slave I somewhere in the galaxy out maneuvering another bounty hunter on his tail trying to take his cargo. Exciting, right? Although Boba Fett has his bounty, who is to say that other bounty hunters like the ones we were introduced to on Darth Vader's star destroyer might not try to get the bounty for themselves? Think Rat Race meets Star Wars!
