One of the most high profile actor vanity projects in history was Planet Hollywood, a restaurant chain that received financial and public backing from such stars as Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Whilst some of them were disappointed by the returns of the main locations, franchises popped up all over the world and inspired a host of other celebs to get in on the act. Not content with having rapping, acting, modelling underwear and blinding an elderly Asian man for no reason on his resume, The Departed sta and walking forehead Mark Wahlberg made his own tentative first steps into diversifying his investments a little with a burger joint in his native Boston, run with other members of his family. The name of that restaurant? Wahlburgers, naturally. That was also the name given to a reality show about the trials and tribulations of the burgeoning business, of which Marky Mark is part-owner along with fellow acting brother Donnie, whilst Paul Wahlberg acts as chef. It would be less strange if it weren't for the name. Wahlburgers. Genius, in a mad way.
