8. Dr Gediman Enters The Aliens Cell - Alien Resurrection
There are a few questionable decisions made but the scientist team of Alien Resurrection, like deciding to experiment on a deadly alien species and using a clone of Ripley to make an queen alien. But the stupidest decision by far is made by Dr Johnathan Gediman when he believes his alien experiments have escaped.
Once the Xenomorphs have reached a mature state, two of them escape confinement by killing one of their own and using the acidic blood to open a hole in the floor. Dr Gediman tries to prevent their escape, but is unsuccessful. It is then at this point where Dr Gediman has the brilliant idea to enter the cell and look down the hole the two Xenomorphs just used to escape.
Unsurprisingly, Dr Gediman is then grabbed by a Xenomorph and pulled down the hole.
A normal person's reaction to seeing an alien using acidic blood to escape its cell might be to call for help or to just get the hell out of there. But instead, Dr Gediman decides he wants to get a closer look at the situation, which ends up resulting in his obvious and very avoidable demise.
