Movie 43 was an unmitigated disaster on virtually every level, perhaps no more than in the skit involving Oscar winner Kate Winslet and and Oscar nominee Hugh Jackman. The skit in question has Winslet going on a date with Jackman's character, who is a very eligible bachelor. He then removes his scarf to reveal a pair of testicles hanging from his neck, and the scene plays out as a mixture of awkward, cringe-inducing "humour" and flat-out gut-wrenching pain from anyone still watching. What's more stupid than the skit itself is why either of the actors would dare to star in it: what could they possibly stand to gain? It's said that the Farrelly Brothers ambushed a lot of actors into these roles, so we can only assume they were sweet-talked (or better yet, wined and dined) into taking part.
