10 Subtle Pixar Movie Details You Definitely Didn't Notice

1. Binford - Toy Story

There are lots of subtle references in the Toy Story franchise and even in sadistic Sid's house in the first movie alone. Not only does he have the same carpet as the Overlook Hotel from The Shining, but there's one toy that is clearly designed to be a "hooker" (with her long Barbie legs and fishing rod).

Even better, when Sid gets his hands on Buzz and Woody, he traps Woody under a crate and puts a tool box on top, unwittingly stopping any potential escape. That tool box is marked with the company name Binford Tools, which is the same company that Toy Story star Tim Allen worked for in his breakout TV show Home Improvement.

Very clever.
