Hancock is the rock-star of superheroes. He is disillusioned with his heroic life causing more issues than it solves, so turns to drink.
The public have turned on our protagonist as he leaves damage in the wake of his heroic acts. Consequently he turns his back on them too. After saving a man's life he is invited home for dinner. Unfortunately this man's wife is not a fan.
Focusing on the heart behind the hero, this film takes its ideas beyond earthly bounds and loses its humble beginnings towards the end. However, all the performances are strong and it's worth a watch even if that's the only time you watch it.
