5. The Cops/Military Are Against The Hero
Another staple of the genre that filmmakers can't help themselves from putting into practice (and essentially, you can't blame them) is including the positions of the police force and the military in relation to superheroes and vigilantes. Though in most cases writers are just incorporating an aspect that would most definitely make itself apparent in real-life, it's actually become pretty dull to watch Spider-Man and Batman trying to escape the clutches of the cops or a military organisation headed by an intolerable douchebag with a personal vendetta.
