10 Superhero Movies That Changed Comic Book Characters Forever
7. Wonder Woman - Wonder Woman
It would be hard to contend with the quintessential white, blue, red, and gold of Wonder Woman's costume. However director Zack Snyder, and designer Michael Wilkinson created a new titular look for the hero in the production of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
When director Patty Jenkins, and costume designer Lindy Hemming began work on Wonder Woman they increased the saturation of her costume; making the colour fuller so that she'd personify hope in the grim surroundings of The First World War.
With this movie version of the character, it aimed to preserve the mystique of Diana, but something that would protect her in the midst of battle.
Soon after, DC imitated this look in DC Rebirth where Diana sports the tight red breastplate, silver arm bracelets, Themyscrian sword, and shield, blue cloth pieces, and golden embellishment, and crown.
We'll have to wait and see if Wonder Woman 1984's all golden eagle armour is as impactful as the previous.
