10 Superheroes Who Should Get A Movie Before Wonder Woman

1. Aquaman (DC)

Wonderwoman 1Who Is This? Arthur Curry, the ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, is a hero would patrols the oceans to keep the waters of this planet safe for all those who inhabit it, sea creatures and humanoids alike. His powers come from having evolved to live in the sea: he can breathe underwater, has great night vision for seeing through murky depths, has extra tough skin to withstand underwater pressures, and most famously, the ability to communicate with marine life. Why is this person a better choice than WW? Although he's commonly made to be the butt of a lot of jokes when compared to other "more powerful" heros in the Justice League, Arthur of Atlantis is actually a much more interesting character than most. An Aquaman movie would take us to a world never before explored on film. A vast underwater kingdom, where friends and enemies alike have evolved from marine life would be a concept artists dream and could provide the most visually stimulating movie since Avatar. Its not hard to imagine why a warrior-king, covered in fish scale armor, riding a giant seahorse into battle against a half-man/half-shark (King Shark) would be a more interesting and marketable film than another play on the greek Gods trope. Josh HollowayWho should be cast? Josh Halloway, who portrayed the character of Sawyer on the tv show Lost, and currently stars in the show Intelligence, would be an excellent Aquaman. Aside from resembling the character, he's a great actor that's used to playing a character who is a little 'rough around the edges' as Arthur is often portrayed. Casting fellow Lost alum Evangeline Lilly as Arthur's bride Mera would finally give all the 'skaters' out there on Tumblr some resolution as well.

Pete Thornton hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
