10 Superheroes Who Need To Die In Their Next Movie

Time for these guys to go the way of the dodo.

One of the inherent issues with superhero movies is that, simply put, the heroes rarely die. This makes sense when you consider that superhero movies are based on comic books that thrive on the fact that their heroes return, issue after issue, to thwart new bad guys and solve new crimes, saving the world from disaster, time and time again. But whereas this approach tends to "work" on paper, it doesn't always translate to the world of film. Which is another way of saying: the fact that superhero characters are near enough invincible - at least in unofficial terms - means that a lot of the tension associated with the ol' "will they/won't they die?" aspect that you find it other movies tends to be a little jarring. Every time we think a character has been killed (i.e. Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, for example), it turns out that, oh no, we we wrong. It's understandable. Movie studios want to make more movies with said characters, and killing them would be akin to taking a billion dollars and throwing it into a flaming pit. But there are some superheroes who have either outstayed their welcome, or feel as though they've been taken as far as they can be in a story arc sense, that could really do with being bumped off. Here are our picks for 10 superheroes who need to die in their next flick...
