10 Supporting Film Characters Who Completely Stole The Show
7. Christoph Waltz Inglourious Basterds
Five years ago, few people in the English-speaking world knew Christoph Waltzs name. His supporting role in Tarantinos Inglourious Basterds changed all that. Nicknamed The Jew Hunter, Waltzs SS colonel Hans Landa opens the film with what amounts to an incredible 10-minute long monologue, with some back-and-forth between Denis Ménochets Perrier LaPadite. Its an amazing scene, and as much as Brad Pitt gives a thoroughly memorable performance in the lead, Waltzs work with these extended scenes filled with dialogue absolutely stole the show in spite of his supporting character role. Signature Steal: I love rumours! Facts can be so misleading, whereas rumours, true or false, are often revealing.
Movie / TV enthusiast with a DVD and Blu-ray collection bigger than I'd care to admit. If anyone is offering creative / furniture solutions to house them, I'm all ears.
