Talking of diversity, Phase 4 really does appear to be embracing people of all races and sexualities. Why is that surprising? Well, it's something Marvel Studios has struggled with in the past, mainly due to Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac Perlmutter's racist, sexist, and all-round outdated attitudes regarding anyone who isn't a white male!

Well, now Disney has made Kevin Feige Marvel's creative powerhouse, things are changing, and it won't take long until that's reflected in this upcoming wave of movies.

As we mentioned, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will boast a primarily Asian cast, while Ms. Marvel - a Pakistani American Muslim - is set to headline her own Disney+ TV series. The likes of Scarlet Witch, The Falcon, and She-Hulk all also look set to receive the spotlight like never before, and Eternals will even feature the MCU's first gay couple.

Throw in the fact that a trans character is expected to be included in Thor: The Dark World, and the MCU is finally beginning to look a lot more like the world we live in.
