2. The "Rising Up" Shot (Every Michael Bay Film)
Easily the most memorable shot of just about any Michael Bay film is the signature "rising up" shot, in which characters will rise up from the ground, looking around at their surroundings while the camera performs a slow-motion pan around them for super-dramatic effect. It's appeared in both Bad Boys films, some of the Transformers flicks, The Rock and so on, and is probably best associated with Marcus' comment in Bad Boys 2 that "s**t just got real!" Basically, Bay uses the scene to remind the viewer that something insane or awesome just happened, and now somebody's going to have to deal with the consequences.
