There are people who absolutely despise the ending to Nick and Amys story. They wanted justice, they wanted closure, they wanted a real murder. However, a happy ending involving Amys death wouldnt be as satisfying as youd think. Where would it leave Nick? In a jail cell alone for the rest of his life? Even though you might hate the ending to the film, Nick and Amy are happy with it, and thats all that matters in the end.
