10 Symbiotes We Need To See In Venom 3

7. Symbiote Dragons

Venom 2 Carnage
Marvel Comics

The first Venom feature introduced the notion of the Hive (even though it wasn't given this name in the film), the moniker given to the symbiote species. In the film, Eddie and Venom must stop Riot from sending Earth's location to the Hive before the alien species comes to the planet on a mission of conquest.

This plot point hints at the grander, celestial origin of the symbiotes from the comics, which could set up an even larger plotline for Venom in the MCU. The Hive was created by the Dark God Null to help him hunt down Celestials, and one of the creatures he created to help him in his quest is the Symbiote Dragons.

Symbiote Dragons are essentially winged Venoms capable of wiping out whole planets and fighting the most powerful MCU Gods. These tough-as-nails monsters would make a perfect antagonist for Venom 3, upping the ante and bringing Null into play, which would place Venom's story on a cosmic scale.

Eventually in the comics, Eddie assumes control of the Symbiote Dragons. If Sony manages to work this development into Venom's storyline, then the character could become one of the most powerful out there, helping the Avengers in their inevitable contest against Kang the Conquerer.
