10 Symbiotes We Need To See In Venom 3
4. Gamma Venom
The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer caused the internet to break when Alfred Molina reprised his role as Doctor Octopus from 2004's Spider-Man 2. If Molina's Doc Ock sticks around for more than just an extended cameo - which seems likely since Sony has been building toward a Sinister Six film - then the character could create a symbiote with amazing cinematic potential, the hulked-out Gamma Venom.
Gamma Venom is not found in the comics. He first appeared in the animated series Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H, and the concept behind the character has massive potential on the big screen. Unlike other kinds of symbiotes, Gamma Venom absorbed gamma radiation and bonded to different versions of Hulk, eventually making the parasite giant in size.
Doc Ock created Gamma Venom to destroy Spider-Man, and, with the good doctor now appearing in the MCU, Sony could make Molina the big bad of Venom 3, having him release a Hulk-sized Venom to wreck shop on Hardy's anti-hero.
This crossover would tick all the boxes, establishing Molina as a fearsome adversary for both Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Hardy's Venom, while delivering an onscreen monster for the ages.
