10 Talented Actors Who Just Can't Seem To Make A Good Film
4. Adrien Brody
No. Of "Rotten" Films In Past 5 Years: 8 Adrien Brody has to be one of the strangest cases of post-Oscar career death, like, ever, because what happened to this guy? He was on top of the world back in 2002 when he won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his tour-de-force performance in The Pianist. In the aftermath of his win, though, Adrien Brody fumbled; the only thing he seems to be renowned for nowadays is brief cameos that probably took just two or three days to film. It's a shame, because Adrien Brody is clearly a remarkable talent. But how does an Oscar-winner - albeit not a particularly old Oscar-winner, either - wind up taking roles in bottom of the barrel efforts such as InAPPropriate Comedy? You know, in which his co-star is Lindsay Lohan? Did the filmmakers get confused and think they were casting Charlie Sheen? Has Adrien Brody just given up? Why hasn't anybody asked him about all this? Maybe Brody isn't even trying to make a good movie and the joke is on us. After all, did he really believe that positive reviews were on the cards with a movie named High School (in which the "High" is intended to denote the act of "getting high" on weed)? Surely not?
