10 Tarantino Brands That Don't Actually Exist in Real Life

3. Big Kahuna Burger

bigkahuna According to the world of Pulp Fiction, Big Kahuna Burger is a Hawaiian themed burger joint in Los Angeles. They are also one of the rare burger joints that allows a customer to order and enjoy their burgers at no less than seven twenty two in the a.m. of course, because hamburgers are the cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast. One of Tarantino's most popular brands is once again sadly non-existent, but our mouths can't help but water each and every time hitman Jules Winfield (Samuel L Jackson) takes a big bite from Brett's (Frank Whaley) burger in Pulp Fiction's opening sequence. What makes this scene so memorable isn't the crisp lettuce or the pristine bun, its the awkward kindness that Jules seems to be exuding while he chows down on the burger. There is an underlying presence that things are going to get nasty real fast, but there's always room for a little snack. Scenes like this were what made Pulp Fiction so special, the mundane being given the spotlight, and in turn making it entertaining in the process. Big Kahuna burgers would appear in From Dusk Till Dawn, Four Rooms and Death Proof as well, but the famous breakfast scene from Pulp Fiction will always keep us asking for another bite.
