The Movie: Helping to inspire a whole generation of people who want to look like they're carrying a television under each arm, man mountain Arnold Schwarzenegger travels back in time to help save John Connor, future leader and saviour of humanity, in arguably one the of the greatest action films ever made.
Tear Jerker Moment: Arnie's Terminator knows he has to die to make sure SkyNet can never come into being, but can't self-terminate. Thus, the young kid that he bonded with throughout the film has to watch him get lowered into a pit of molten lava. His last act? Giving a thumbs up whilst also prompting grown men everywhere to secretly wipe away a tear in the process. "Are you crying at T2?" "No! I've got allergies, is all."
