10 Teen Actors Who Should Play The New Spider-Man

9. Logan Lerman

Logan Lerman has already made a career out of playing Peter Parker-type roles; he's even proved that he can play the high school outsider film adaptation of cult coming-of-age novel The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. The 23-year-old is a little outside the age range that Sony seem to be looking at, but he's a bankable name that looks and often plays younger than his true age. Hollywood! When he was a kid, Lerman appeared in the likes of The Butterfly Effect (as a young Ashton Kutcher) and What Women Want (as a young Mel Gibson), but he really began to hit his stride in Carl Hiaasen teen crime caper Hoot, modern Western remake 3:10 To Yuma with Christian Bale and Russell Crowe, and as the eponymous hero of the Percy Jackson series. Again, any commitment to that franchise - are they even still making those movies? - might once again spoil Lerman's chances of playing Spider-Man, if his schedule's fully booked. Still, he's reaching new heights of popularity with The Three Musketeers, and of critical acclaim for war drama Fury, so perhaps he's at just the right time in his career to be putting on the tights and getting stuffed in lockers.
