10 Terrible CGI Moments In Huge Comic Book Movies

6. Wolverine's Claw Pop (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)

Green Lantern Ryan Reynolds
Fox

If Reed Richards isn't humiliating Wolverine with bad CGI, he's doing it to himself, or at least 20th Century Fox's special effects team are doing it to him.

Logan's claws look utterly dreadful throughout X-Men Origins: Wolverine, as though the adamantium spikes were Photoshopped in afterwards. They don't look like they're protruding from his knuckles as much as they're hovering over them aimlessly.

The most insulting thing about this is that three X-Men movies arrived before this prequel, and Wolvie's claws looked fine in them, created using practical props.

But somebody at Fox clearly thought it was a good idea to take a step backwards and make them look all computerised. Probably the same person who is in charge of keeping the X-Men movie timeline free of continuity errors.
