10 Terrible Disney Film Sequels You Won't Believe Exist

2. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame II

The Muppets Wizard Of Oz
Disney

Disney's original adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame tapped uncannily into the more melancholy nature of its source than their works sometimes did, even if the film is considered to generally be one of the more inferior works of their Renaissance period.

But its follow-up reduces its plot, in part, to a trite meet-cute situation as it sets around finding love for Quasimodo, a development that - matched with a particularly underpar approach to its animation - left something of a sour taste behind despite its particularly brief, hour-plus runtime. Best left under the bell, this one.
