British director Mark Mylod began his career with the BBC, making his move into American television when HBO hired him to work on Entourage. He impressed the network enough to earn a shot at directing on Game Of Thrones, and in 2014 he took charge of episodes three and four of Season 5. He was welcomed back for season 6, directing episode seven The Broken Man, and episode eight No One, in which Arya finally got to kill that pesky Waif.

There are no fights to the death in Mylod's 2011 film What's Your Number? however, with the only battle being the one the audience face to stay awake. Rated a gone-off splat by both Rotten Tomatoes users and critics (who scored it as 44% and 23% respectively) this flat rom-com stars Anna Faris as Ally Darling, a woman who goes looking for the best ex of her life after a magazine article convinces her she's going to die alone.

Anyone who has seen a few Anna Faris movies knows that she has the potential to be a comedy star. Her crack timing and scatterbrained enthusiasm could be channelled into something genuinely hilarious, though What's Your Number? is just another in a string of movies that fails to capitalise on her obvious talents.

Mylod oversees a painfully predictable mash-up of long since played out rom-com cliches thrown together carelessly in the editing room, and even Captain America himself Chris Evans (Faris' best ex) can't save this one from sucking hard.
