10 Terrible Movie Super Villains Which Deserve Another Attempt

2. Doctor Doom

Doctor Doom is one of Marvel's most notoriously evil villains, as well as the character with the worst on-screen adaptations.

First, we got the snide, creepy version in 2005's Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel portrayed by Julian McMahon, and fans of the Fantastic Four really didn't believe it could get any worse for the beloved family or their arch-enemy.

Then along came the 2015 reboot, Fant4stic.

Toby Kebbell's version of the character was nothing more than a whiny man-child scientist, and the design for the character's armour was even worse than that of his predecessor.

Victor Von Doom should have been the ultimate villain, and all he's ever equated to on-screen is a lonely, petulant man-boy that is nothing but a black hole for charisma.

Doctor Doom's worst crime over the three live action movies he has appeared in is the absolute butchering of the character he was intended to represent, and it's hard to watch any of the Fantastic Four movies without considering all the ways in which they went wrong.

Still, with the Fantastic Four allegedly heading for MCU, we may yet see another reboot, and perhaps the third time will be the charm.
