Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones - the second in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and the one where all the sand memes come from - takes a very long time to get to anything interesting.

Obi-Wan Kenobi's battle with Jango Fett on Kamino is pretty good, but over way too soon, and then the rest of the movie is a lot of stilted dialogue, dull space travel, and Anakin and Padmé flirting over a levitating pear.

Any fans who did stick around until the end eventually got something worth talking about - an excellent final battle on Geonosis which saw the debut of the clone army. The very last scene of the film is also a doozy, as Master Yoda pontificates on the future of the galaxy now that all-out war has been declared.

Yoda's foreboding warning brilliantly sets up the next film and the idea that, although they seem like a good thing initially, the clones will bring nothing but trouble in the future. Of course, he was bang on the money.

A good battle and a great speech. Just a shame about everything else.
