10 Terrible Movies With One Redeeming Feature

7. Arnie Vs Miriam Margoyles - End Of Days

Arnold Schwarzenegger has battled many imposing foes on the big screen over the last 35 or so years; the chainmail-wearing mustachioed Bennett, the shapeshifting T1000, the extraterrestrial Predator and even Batman himself, but one of his most memorable cinematic scraps came when he was faced with five-foot tall English character actress Miriam Margoyles.

End of Days came during the period of Schwarzenegger's career when his star power truly began to fade, and the actor struggled to make any decent movies. Capitalizing on both the Y2K panic and the associated religious viewpoints that fed the fear of the new millennium, it was nonetheless a decent-sized hit at the box office. However, it was not a good movie by any means.

Although 'Arnie vs Satan' was the selling point and the climax of the entire story, the real highlight was watching the giant Austrian get the ever-loving sh*t kicked out of him by a grey-haired middle-aged woman, and remains one of the only memorable things about End of Days. Schwarzenegger may have ultimately defeated the future Professor Sprout in hand-to-hand combat, but Margoyles' fighting prowess almost walked away with the whole movie in unintentionally hilarious fashion.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
