10 Terrible Scenes That Ruined Highly Anticipated Movies

1. The Final Battle - The Matrix Revolutions

The Matrix Revolutions The Matrix Revolutions is, for the most part, a palatable action movie that's full of set-pieces and seems to be heading quite confidently towards a much-hyped, epic showdown between Agent Smith and Neo. We'd been waiting years for this moment, and now, with gloriously overblown orchestral music and a highly atmospheric setting, we were going to see how it all ended. The result? Well, it's got more in common with your average Dragonball Z episode than any of the awesomeness that we'd expect from a Matrix movie. Smith and Neo spend far too much time spinning around weightlessly in the air, instead of focusing on the gritty brutality of the fight. It's fine to defy physics - it is a Matrix movie after all - but the Wachowski's took it too far; it's hard to get engaged in a fight so utterly cartoony, compounded by the fact that the CGI work is downright shoddy.
