10 TERRIFYING Horror Movie Moments You Don't Actually See

Queen of all things just out of our vision, this witch doesn't come to play in her seminal 1999 outing. The Blair Witch Project has gone down in history for its excellent manipulation of what we think we see as much as what actually plays out on screen, but it's the ending that remains one of the most chilling scenes in which we see nothing at all.

Cut down to a pair after their pal Josh goes missing, Heather and Mike enter an old dilapidated building and quickly succumb to what's either madness, or the witch's tricksy dealings. Mike is turned to a corner in the basement and Heather finds him in all his creepy glory - screaming until her camera is knocked to the ground and the film ends in nothing but grainy mystery.

Perhaps this is pushing the notion of 'what we don't see' to its limit since this ending is categorically meant to be an unknown quantity, but so many claim the witch's intereference in these matters that it would be remiss not to point out we never actually see her in the movie at all.
