Located at the summit of a picturesque mountain in the Swiss Alps, this sanatorium is touted as a premium retreat for the wealthy. However, there’s something sinister in the water, and this is a shocking discovery that ambitious Wall Street executive Lockhart (Dane DeHaan) uncovers for himself when he’s sent to the spa to bring back his company’s CEO, who’s yet to return from his vacation. But after breaking his leg in a car crash, Lockhart finds himself checking-in instead.
Despite the sanatorium's immaculate appearance, there’s something not quite right about the place that goes beyond the strange behaviour of the staff.
