2. A Series Of Post-Credits Cameos
A couple of years back, Marvel Comics brought Wolverine back from the dead and teased his return in a series of "post-credits scenes" which happened in the back of various issues. Ultimately, they all tied together and led to an even larger story, and Marvel Studios could definitely do something similar with Deadpool throughout the course of Phase 4.
Each one of them could show that Deadpool had some sort of secret role in the events of the movie that preceded it, and he could even make cameo appearances throughout the main body of these adventures not all that different to Stan Lee.
Sure, it might sound like the Merc With the Mouth is going to become a glorified Easter Egg, but this would all be building to an eventual solo feature, and gives Marvel Studios the opportunity to make good use of Ryan Reynolds for a couple of years before moving forward with some sort of reboot. Then again, even though fans are desperate for a Deadpool 3, does that actually need to happen?
