10 Things About Marvel Movies That Are Starting To Irritate Us

7. Misplaced, Needless Humour

Fox StudiosFox StudiosHumour occurs in all walks of life. It can even occur at what seems like the most inappropriate of times - it's a mechanism we use to deal with things - but it can be misplaced and unnecessary and Marvel's movies seem to have that down to a T. Dance scenes in Spider-Man 3 and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Darcy Lewis' annoying chirpiness and Ben Grimm's horrifically cheesy one-liners ("Yeah, that's right, keep running Boo Boo. Overgrown furball!"); it's all highly unnecessary and doesn't really add anything to proceedings - especially when humour comes so naturally to the likes of Tony Stark. Don't get us wrong, humour is great and it should be a part of comic book movies, but when it's so contrived it just makes you want to cringe.
