6. Stan Lee Cameos
Sony PicturesStan, we all love you, and the cameos were great and surprising to begin with, but the joke is long dead - give it a rest, fella. The 91 year old former president and chairman of Marvel Comics first made a cameo appearance in a Marvel movie in the year 2000's X-Men movie, when he played a hotdog stand vendor - and he's appeared in pretty much every Marvel movie since. Some of Lee's cameos have been great - the librarian wearing headphones, making him oblivious to the ongoing battle between Spider-Man and Lizard in The Amazing Spider-Man, for example, was a lot of fun - but most of them are tedious and pointless and the joke is starting to wear thin. "Superheroes in New York, give me a break!" No, Stanley - you give US a break now.
