5. Wolverine Starring In Every X-Men Movie
Fox StudiosThis point is specific to one of Marvel's movie franchises, but it still finds itself getting a place on this more general list. Wolverine is far too abundant in Fox's X-Men franchise, appearing in movies he really doesn't need to appear in (the First Class cameo, anyone?) and predictably taking up the starring role in Days of Future Past, despite the fact that it was Kitty Pryde who starred in the comic book arc of the same name. He has, of course, also had two titular movies, while other X-Men characters are yet to have any solo movies devoted to them. It's about time someone else got a real chance to shine. We're getting a little tired of having Hugh Jackman waved in front of our faces at every available opportunity - as cool as he is in the role. The point does kind of extend to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well, however, with Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark getting three of his own movies before other characters had even been given two, as well as being the star character in the first Avengers movie, cameoing at the end of the Incredible Hulk and appearing in archive footage in the first Marvel One-Shot - "The Consultant".
