3. That He's A Detective
When a character is widely known as the 'world's greatest detective', one would think that said character's movies would feature some actual detective work.
Even Nolan’s massively celebrated Bat-flicks were lacking in detective work; there were elements of it, but nowhere near enough to be worthy the 'world's greatest' moniker, with Bruce mainly relying on interrogation and automated computer analysis to track down his foes.
Obviously, a full-on detective Batman film would be ideal, though as that will likely never be a reality, an approach similar to Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes movies would be a welcome compromise - displaying the protagonist's intellect without neglecting elaborate fight scenes and spectacles of destruction.
In any case, a film focusing purely on Batman tackling a case (and not any henchmen) would be the optimal solution.
