10 Things Batman Vs Superman Won't Do Better Than The Dark Knight Trilogy
10. A Grounded And Believable World
One of the most well-received and celebrated changes that Christopher Nolan made with his Dark Knight trilogy was planting the DC Comics hero in a world that felt organic, realistic and, well, human. The main focus of Nolan's films may have undoubtedly been on Bruce Wayne and his alter ego as the Caped Crusader, but the director also dedicated a substantial amount of screen time to the plights of the ordinary person. It's going to be nigh on impossible to replicate this to a similar degree in Batman V Superman. For starters, the film's title more or less denotes that the film is largely going to be about the two superheroes coming to blows, and with Superman's otherworldly origins being a stark contrast with Batman's, it's going to be ridiculously hard for Snyder to make audiences care or understand why Clark Kent gives two figs about protecting the human race. And with Nolan having already achieved a very grounded Batman in his films, Snyder's going to need to cook up a new and interesting method of keeping Batman a 'normal' (but very badass) superhero.
