10 Things Batman Vs Superman Won't Do Better Than The Dark Knight Trilogy
7. Gadgets
Nothing is ever going to beat the 'Tumbler'. The modernised Batmobile that features in the Dark Knight trilogy is one of the most iconic vehicles in all of cinema, and that's just the guy's car. Bat-shurikens, grappling hooks, and a cape that enables gliding are just some of the neat gadgets that make up Batman's repertoire. Nolan did a great job of showing us how Batman refined and invented his gadgets over the course of the three films (being able to turn your head while wearing a bat-themed helmet is pretty essential), and while we're not suggesting that Snyder needs to devote a huge amount of screen time to explaining the aerodynamics of how a 'batarang' works, he should certainly take some notes from Nolan's films. Batman's tools are always created out of necessity, so for any new gadgets to have an impact, we need to be given reasons as to why he creates new gizmos. A kryptonite-coated suit? Sure, that would be cool, but just make sure to tell us why that would be better than, say, a pair of Krypto-handcuffs.
