10 Things DC Fans Don't Want To Accept About The DC Extended Universe

2. The Trailers Will Always Be Better Than The Movies Themselves

When it comes to selling their movies with trailers, there might not be a better studio at that than Warner Bros. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and Justice League all looked like guaranteed masterpieces in those atmospheric sneak peeks, while even Aquaman and Shazam! (two admittedly entertaining flicks) looked more epic blockbuster than pulpy fluff.

Ultimately, though, it seems the movies are never going to live up to those awesome sneak peeks.

Not convinced? Well, the trailers for Wonder Woman 1984 - which is on its sixth release date - have been incredible, but the leaked plot that showed up online a while ago points to it being a disappointing, generic affair. Time will tell if this all comes to fruitition, but if it does, it could go back to that "Marvel-isation" of the DCEU.

At this point, DC fans would avoid being disappointed by simply coming to terms with the fact that the trailers for these movies are always going to overshadow the finished product.
