10 Things You Didn't Know About Goodfellas

3. Ray Liotta Turned Down The Role Of Harvey Dent In Batman To Play Henry Hill

No, we're obviously not talking about Chris Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy; we're talking about the old school Batman films directed by Tim Burton. With that being the case, the iteration of Harvey Dent present in these films never became Two-Face, he was just a plain old District Attorney in Tim Burton's adaptation. Before Liotta landed the part of Henry Hill, he was approached to play the would be villain before a certain Billy Dee Williams took on the role. Not only would Batman have been an entirely different film with Liotta playing Dent, but Goodfellas would have been short of one the actors that made it such a masterclass in acting. But you never know, with a new series of Batman films on the books for Warner Bros. intending for them to be entirely separate from the Nolan films, there's still a chance for Liotta's career to come full circle.
