1. "Rey Is Definitely Luke Skywalker's Daughter" - Star Wars: The Force Awakens
What Everyone Thinks: It seemed to be so heavily suggested throughout The Force Awakens that Rey (Daisy Ridley) is Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) daughter that many fans, if indeed not most, appear to just assume that this is 100% the case. After all, Luke's lightsaber called out to her and she was abandoned as a child while Luke coincidentally exiled himself, so why not? The Truth: Though it's certainly a possibility, it seems way too soon to start calling this already. For starters, doesn't it seem hilariously obvious that this is the case, and so with J.J. Abrams introducing the idea, there's a good chance he's actually swerving audiences only for Rey to be completely unrelated to any known Star Wars character. Wouldn't that be refreshing, rather than lazily keeping it all in the family? Which claims from 2015 movies do you feel are just totally wrong? Shout them out in the comments!
