10 Things Everybody Gets Wrong About 2015's Biggest Movies
9. "Spectre Is Daniel Craig's Final Bond Film"
What Everyone Thinks: You can blame the tabloid media for this one, but reports circulated prior to the release of Spectre that Daniel Craig, who has long voiced his semi-disdain for the role, would be hanging up the dinner jacket after the latest movie, leaving the floor open for the likes of Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy and Idris Elba to compete for the part (again, at least according to news rags like The Daily Fail). The Truth: Anyone who has done any reading on the subject will actually know that Craig has another film left in his contract as Bond, and so will be back for one last go-around as the super-spy. Admittedly it is a little confusing given how the end of Spectre pretty much gives his version of Bond a clear send-off, and so seeing him brought back into the fold once again might feel a bit dull and repetitive. But yes, no matter what mainstream newspapers and TV shows might tell you, Craig has one final obligation left to fulfill, and he probably only stirred up the notion that he might be quitting in the hope that a) it might boost Spectre's box office and b) he therefore might get a bigger pay-day for his eventual fifth film.
