10. Marvel Studios Can Do No Wrong

It is often written that "Marvel Studios can do no wrong" as if everything they've put out (specifically in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) turned to gold. That really isn't the case at all. Certain films have missed the mark with a number of key elements and, as a result, there has been mixed reception from fans, mixed reception from critics and mixed performances at the box office. If Marvel Studios can do no wrong, would The Incredible Hulk only have grossed $263 million at the box office? Would critics have panned Thor: The Dark World? Would fans have gone ballistic about the portrayal of the Mandarin in Iron Man 3? Absolutely not. The franchise could be so much better on so many levels - it just so happens that, overall, it has done very, very well.
