9. Thinking Doctor Strange Is An Avenger
Doctor Strange is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016, having been previously name-dropped in Captain America: The Winter Soldier last year. Benedict Cumberbatch is set to take on the role of the Sorcerer Supreme and almost everybody is expecting him to immediately join up with the Avengers as a full-blown member of the team - but is it really that cut and dry? The fact is, it's probably not. Doctor Strange has never actually been an Avenger in the comic books, so there's no reason to believe that he definitely will be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sure, the powerful magic user will undoubtedly work alongside the Avengers against the likes of Thanos, but whether or not he'll become an actual member of the team is by no means a certainty.
