10 Things We Expect To Happen In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

7. We€™ll Take A Trip To Wakanda

A fictional African nation in Marvel Comics, Wakanda is most famous for two things: its leader T€™Challa, better known as the Black Panther, and being the primary source of the rare metal vibranium. The country was highlighted on a map in Iron Man 2, and vibranium was introduced in Captain America: The First Avenger as the substance Cap€™s shield is made out of. There were rumours at one point that Wakanda would be one of the locales that the Avengers travel to in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but this hasn€™t been confirmed. Whether it€™s in the Avengers sequel or another movie, it€™s likely that we€™ll take a visit to Marvel€™s most famous fictional nation (unless you€™re more fond of Latveria) sometime in the future. This will also double as our introduction to Black Panther, who was revealed last October to have a film in development. With a rich backstory, advanced technology and its seclusion from the rest of the world, Wakanda would be an ideal location for an MCU storyline to go down. If Wakanda is introduced in a solo Black Panther film first, it would be a great opportunity to feature Ulysses Klaw fight Black Panther and attempt to steal the country€™s vibranium supply. This story would also explain how the country got its massive supply of vibranium in the first place.
