10 Things From Spider-Man: TAS The Sony Spider-Verse Should Feature

9. Make A Wish

Now for something less obvious but quite vital to Sony's Spider-Verse success.

While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, the Make A Wish episode and its sequel had an innocent tone that would make for a “feel good” film. No, it shouldn’t be a main story line, but as a subplot, it could earn Sony some of the MCU’s family audience.

The MCU can be dark at times, but ultimately, it caters to the whole family. These stories make us laugh and cry. The MCU wears its heart on its sleeve; moviegoers who had never heard of the Guardians of the Galaxy fell in love with a ragtag group and were absolutely gutted when The Snap sent them away.

Stories like Make A Wish may seem out of place in Venom's world right now, but that doesn't mean Sony can't try something similar. Sony needs to look at the lightheartedness of many Spider-Man: TAS episodes and incorporate it into their films to win over MCU-sized audiences.

Worst case scenario is that they make a softer PG-13 film which isn't a complete tragedy.
