Although overused at times, the tech/robotic side of the MCU provided exciting action scenes. So much of the MCU had Stark's fingerprints on it, from Justin Hammer to Ultron to E.D.I.T.H. in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Stark's creations became the connective tissue between many films and Stark Industry tech ended up driving many plots throughout the Infinity Saga.

While Sony shouldn't go all in and try to ape the Iron Man franchise, bringing the Smythes and their own devious creations into the fold would add another diverse layer to this world.

Spider Slayers appeared within the first three episodes of the series with Alistair Smythe becoming the Ultimate Spider Slayer cyborg in a later season. These robotic hunters were pretty grand in the cartoon but needn't be so massive or dominant in the Spider-Verse.

Instead, making Spider Slayers similar to the Sentinel robots used in Fox's X-Men series The Gifted would be ideal. More than an annoyance yet slightly less serious of a threat than super villains themselves, the presence Alistair and Spencer Smythe could create a wildcard factor that would create intriguing subplots.
